Key Responsibilities

Lead the architectural design, implementation, and optimization of robust, scalable, and secure Azure cloud infrastructure and services.

Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Azure Bicep or Terraform to ensure automated, consistent, and version-controlled provisioning.

Drive the adoption of best practices for cloud security, performance tuning, and cost management across all Azure environments.

Collaborate cross-functionally with development, operations, and product teams to seamlessly integrate cloud solutions into our product lifecycle and deployment pipelines.

Provide expert-level troubleshooting and resolution for complex Azure-related issues, ensuring high availability and reliability of critical systems.

Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing, technical excellence, and professional growth within the team.

Evaluate and recommend new Azure services, tools, and technologies to enhance our cloud capabilities and align with strategic business objectives.

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, and managing complex solutions within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
Deep expertise in core Azure services including Azure Virtual Networks, Azure Active Directory, Azure Compute, Azure Storage, and Azure SQL Database.
Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Azure Bicep or Terraform for automated provisioning and configuration management.
Strong background in developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) for automated cloud deployments.
Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python for automation and operational tasks.
In-depth understanding of cloud security principles, network architectures, and identity management best practices within Azure.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues independently and collaboratively.

Nice to Have

Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-305 Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AZ-400 Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, AZ-500 Azure Security Engineer Associate).
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
Familiarity with serverless computing (Azure Functions, Logic Apps) and other Azure PaaS offerings.
Working knowledge of monitoring, logging, and alerting tools like Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
Previous experience in a consulting or client-facing role, demonstrating strong communication and presentation skills.
